Yamaha V4 Rev Limiter

I'm on the limiter with my V4. It's an old style 115 with the pack on the side, rather than on the back. Thanks to a S&F member, she has full Hydrotec bolt-ons.

She runs up to 6000 real quick. I want to re-prop, but not until I know what she'll turn the 24" drag now.

How do I disconnect the limiter on this motor? I've got the CDI unit from a 130, and I think that'd raise it to 6250 or so, but I'd rather just disable it if possible.

Well, on a V6 it is the white wire that goes into the small module below the CDI box.

I have never looked closely at V4 electronics, but I expect it to be the same.
