yamaha need advice on controls

i have a 99 50 hp yamaha 4 stroke and need a set of controls for it... the oem controls will set me back $450.

I already have the IC, key and harness to start the motor i just need throttle management and shifting ability's.

would telleflex universals work? will older 2 stroke oem controls fit?

you can use any controls that take 33c cables.....just make sure the direction of shift is the same.....most universal teleflex controls can go either way.....
