I have a 460 in a "WRIEDT" hull and everything seems to be in decent shape but I want to change all the plugs, filters and give it some fresh oil, but I don't see where to drain the oil.
This may be a really stupid question, but how do I drain the oil from this motor?
Thanks for any/all input...

When the oil pan is not accessible, usually you use a plastic pump that sucks the oil through the dipstick tube.

Jabsco makes a really nice unit for changing oil out the dipstick. If you're gonna keep that boat for awhile, do yourself a favor and spend $200 on it. It's an electric pump mounted on top of a 5 gallon bucket with jumper cables to connect to the battery. The small handheld jobs work but can be very frustrating when they constantly loose prime.
Good luck. ;)

:iagree: ,if possible, warm the engine first, thinner oil = better flow!

look around in the lower bilge area, there may me a hose laying there that is connected to the oil pan drain. It will have a cap on it. Pull it out thru the drain hole and remove cap. Last jet boat I had was a Taylor, that's how it was set up..if its there, be prepared for about a 24 hour drain time..
