lower unit swap

I would like to swap my stock 200 mercury lower unit internals, into a cle or a sportmaster lower unit, but I am not sure if they will fit. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have this same question ,I have two lower units ,a left one and a right one ,both year 1997 ,
I like to change the gear housings to a set 4 hole CLE,s ,it looks like the internals do not mach up properly ,on the left one it looks like I need a bushing to set the gear right to the pinion,and on the right one it looks like I need to remove some material to obtain the right place for that ....

Any help would be greatly appriciate .
