Just wondering if any of you guys knew the dude who owned these two boats. His name is Ruey and he lives in the Glenns falls area. I'm mostly curious to know if that Sleek Craft still exists. I've seen the boat run many times on the lake I go to. One evening he had 3 STV Procomps gang up on him and he made them look real bad over and over again. Two of the guys gave up and the 3rd kept trying but he did'nt stand a chance. This took place some years ago and Ruey seemed to be ahead of his time. I'm not sure of the engines HP as he kept everything a secret..he did run a Spinelli Bro. prop but I'm not sure what pitch. That Sleek Craft was extremly fast with a very light layup and the last I hear it was left to just rot. I'm not interested in buying it just want to know if it's still around.
The other boat is a "Magic" and only 3 were made, a blue one which Ruey ownes still " I think", a red one that was out of Heavy Metal Marine here in central Jersey and a yellow one that was burnt in a fire. Ruey at the time was experimanting with some kind of programable EFI on the blue Magic. That boat also cooked and had a real nice silent choice exhaust. All of his toys are awsome including the light weight carbon crotch rocket he had last time I saw him.
