Where would I hook up this gauge on the block? thanks

Look for a fitting on the top of the block, near the cylinder head. At least, that is where they are on the V6 Yamahas.

Yeah it not there. I'm looking for a hole with a plug 1/4?

It is a metric M series plug on the Yamahas.
