I have a hydrostream venus with a 200 merc. 1986 motor 1989 boat.
gas gauge was jumpin about a 1/4 tank then one day tach was stuck at 4k and none of the other gauges worked plus motor will not start and tilt control from arm not working. tilt worked from motor radio works vhf works . Lost on what it is????????

Check all your grounds... and ALL connections, for that matter!

Check to see if you have power getting to the red wire at the key switch. If no power is getting to the switch, check the fuse on the motor. If you have power at the switch, you probably have a bad key switch.
