Have not finished rigging these 225X's on my boat yet. The newer motors seem quite different then my 2000's. I understand they have different pistons and a different injection system and ECU.
Can anyone tell me any other differences? Will the "X" run stronger than the Pro Max?
I've heard of issues with 05 300X's burning pistons because Mercury leaned them out for emissions. Does this hold true for the 05 225X's?
