what motor?

I've got an 18' Lightning (Mirage Jaguar mod vp copy) modified tunnel. I blew the motor this weekend (broken rings on 4 and 6). It's an efi 200 hp fishing motor. I'm trying to decide whether to replace the power head w/a 260 or 280 or rebuild what I have. It was supposed to be a fresh motor when I bought the boat, but I now have my doubts. The compression was too high for pump gas, 165psi. I was using 93 with octance booster, but I think this may have been it's demise. I use the boat for cruising the river and enjoy running fast at times. I want something durable, but fast. What's your thoughts?

i like the suggestion. jay can build exactually what level you need. since it needs a full rebuild that would make sence.
