Will a sports master prop shaft (small) fit in a CLE lowerunit its a 2 hole CLE

All of the 2 hole cle's I've seen had a smaller dia. shaft with 2 carrier prop shaft bearings. The 4 hole cle's use the larger 1 bearing shaft like the sportmaster.
