there was a wax used for marine growth reduction that bass pro or cabella caried that could get you the 2-3 mph. i got 2 mph on a 49mph boat. the wax should work depending on how much of the boat is still in the water. for hi speed 70mph boat its probably worth less.
be fore warned once you put the stuff on you'll need to sand it off.

You said in your post that you have plenty water presure if thats the case raise the motor like 1/4in or a 1/16 in at a time and see if you pickup speed that racker prop can run at very high transom height and not brake loose if you are not running a nose cone epoxy the water hole;s one on each side of the top of the case to keep from sucking air and go up with the motor it will pick up speed less gearcase drag is the best speed gain and better handleing as well. Good luck:D

REMOVE THE NOSECONE AND THEN TRY THE 24" RAKER.
UNDER 80MPH THE NOSECONE WILL SLOW YOUR RIGG DOWN 2-5 MPH.
KEEP THE PROPSHAFT 1" BELOW THE PAD OR MORE TO START AND WATCH WATER PRESSURE. YOU DONT HAVE MANY OPTIONS AS YOUR HP IS PRETTY LOW AND YOU CANT MOD THAT MOTOR ENUFF TO GAIN A WHOLE LOT WITHOUT SACRIFICING RELIABILITY.
CHEAPEST WAY TO GET 5MPH IS SELL THE 90 AND BUY A 120 - 140 HP MOTOR.
