It's great seeing kids get their first boat. You guys have some kinda horsepower laws for kids in PA? She should still be able to wax him with a 25!!

If it's a 25 Mercury, Ralph won't stand a chance unless he throws half his sheep out. :)

yes it is a royal craft. we were talking about you guys yesterday and the one you have. this one came up from Maryland. Old couple had it. There son used to play with it. Not bad shape. needs work. Tiff will make it a work of art when she is done. I hope i can be there for the first time out. and yes i do belive that a 25hp should have no problem wiping Ralph up. go Tiff

Thanks again Ben. She is very excited for me to start working on it. Ronnie I amy need to call you for some advice on fiberglass repair if that is ok with you. I have an idea I am going to end up putting a budget paint job on it before it is all done. here is some more pictures of it.

We will be watching the for sale section and ebay for some gauges, billet accessories etc...She wants to add some bling. I also need to find a cheap motor.

Making some progress. More work than I expected but decided to make sure it will hold more power if needed.

She sure is a little cutie! Does she like that paint job? I think it looks good but she might want to design her own now.

I drove a Royal Craft in EP long ago, but I think maybe I had the same hull but with a bigger deck--sort of primitive air traps. Should run wonderfully with a motor in the 50-75 range when she is allowed.

It's great to have your kids in your sport. My daughter rides with, doesn't drive, but wants out in our Eliminator/V8 every chance she can. And my boys both used my Vandal all of the time during high school--one of the best $2500 I ever spent. In fact, my poor Vandal looks right now a lot like your daughter's Royal Craft, with my eldest recoring it to be his boat.

Ronnie- the boat still looks the same yet. With her playing softball I have not had much free time lately. Hope to get the transom in soon

Wingman- she is not that fond of the sheep thing for some reason

catmando- Thanks, she is my only child so she gets spoiled. she was ok with the color but since we pulled the top and are going to fix some spots she wants to paint the boat.

Lil Toy- it is a 14'. My daughter loves my Rapidcraft with the V8 also. I made the mistake of letting her drive it at the romp. Now she wants to drive all the time and legally she has to wait until she is 12 to drive it.

Riverratt, Keep the pistol clean and handy....when she hits the water with that smile and that boat, your gonna have your hands full in a year or so....

Wish I had been able to do it for my kids at that age. Congrats.
