What should a Carbed BP, RPM be at WOT? :confused:

I'm pretty sure all of the Bridgeport 2.4's were designed to run and make peak power at 6800-7000. Most of the time, I prop mine with a 24p, which lets it spin up to 7500 without any fuss...

Peak power is at 7500 RPM on a stock BP. They will still pull to 8000 RPM no problem. On an F1 boat we used to turn the stock ported 2.4 BPs (SST 140) at 9600 RPM.

I ran a worked "23p" yamaha drag prop last year on mine that turned 8000 pretty quickly...
