change idle speed

i am pretty sure i did it correctly but i want to be sure. how do you change the idle speed on a 2.4? mine is a efi HP.

idle timing screw/bolt on the main throttle arm.

Once everything else is properly set and adjusted, you can use the small timing screw and jamnut to fine-tune idle speed.

cool, i did this. i only turned it a couple times. the guy who owned it before me turned it up cuz he had a long no wake like 20+ mins.

what should the minimum be? do the hp motors idle rougher than a fishin motor?

HI. Ithink around 1,000 in neutrel 600 to 700 in gear. Answer #2 yes they do thanks.
