powerhead torque

i read a thread about improper powerhead torque eggshapes the lower cylinders,what is the torque spects on a 280 hp mercury powerhead?

never heard of it on a 2.5.. you would rip the studs uot of the block before you would warp the cyls.. i know the 3l are 50 lbs
