Theres a 1987 XR2 150 that i'm interested in getting from a local marina. I was told that the compression is 120 all around.
My question is.. What should the compression of an XR2 be at?
I remember reading somewhere that they should be no less than 140...

O, never knew there were two models of the xr2's... How can I tell the difference? The one i'm interested in is a 1987
like this one.
Thanks,

That is the fishing motor and 120lbs comp. should be fine.

Hey 83PREDICTOR, Glad to hear you're happy with your XR2. what numbers are you getting with your setup? And how big/heavy is your checkmate?
Thanks for the responses
