to paint or not to paint

I was looking into repainting a boat that was repainted the wrong way .Bad prep and cracking paint. If you looked at it you would think stress cracks but its only serface cracks in the paint the paint has no flex. Does anyone know a good paint guy that does jell coats....

In order to do Gelcoat, you'd have to sand off all the paint. And depending on how bad the paint is, even if you wanted to re-paint you might have to still remove all the paint.

yeah people use a bunch of different products... allgrip..emron..ppg.. it all works.. but prep. prep .. prep.. shooting paint is the easy part...
