To whom might have or had the same set-up,

I have a 21 ft. Daytona Eliminator with a brand new stock 300 hp. 1993 Evinrude XP powerhead recently re-built with an automatic lift jacKplate. I' m wondering if anyone outhere would know what a high performance (for top end speed) would be for my tunnel.
Any suggestions / or expert advice anyone ??? Thanks in advance and I hope everyone has a nice summer on the water !!!

Friendly Canadian (bugger):) ;)

Bugger,

Is that a Mohawk Elim or California Elim....

I remember a few of the Mohawks from the late 80's with some V8's on 'em. Pretty neat rigs.

Do you have a LWP on that engine.

If not I would suspect a Raker or 4 Blade OMC prop should work well.

I am not sure what pitch , cause I do not know the gear Reduction on the V8...please advise.

But I would suspect with the right prop, you should have 90+ mph potential!!

Let us know

Back when it had a V-8 on it, it ran a 32 cleaver. I have been in it at 93 (Speedo but pretty close) with 4 aboard, back before I wound up with it. Now it has a lowly 235 on it, but one day may have a V-8 back on it. I don't think you could go wrong with a 30 or 32 cleaver.

I've got a PERFECT 34 cleaver, hubbed for OMC if you need one!

Nope, 30 is the smallest I have.

I`ve got a 28, not as clean as the 34 I sold wildman but in great shape.

If the 21 is the old style bottom a 30 re works good.

Racer, you would'nt want to buy that 34 back would you? The one I ran with it was a 15 inch and the rpm's were 500 different. Needless to say, I could'nt use it. Maybe you know someone who can. Thanx, WILDMAN
