2.5 ecu 200xri ?2.4

Hello to all
Have been reading lots of good stuff I bought a 200 xri year is 95 had a fitting break on the fuel inlet got one used When looking at the ecu noitced that it said 2.4 liter cover see pic148101
The rest of the numbers say 2.5 ?148104
148102 was this normal or has been swap out ? thankyou

Ok looks more like someone used a crayon...? Think the stickers should be your first clue...

It is normal.. I had an A17 225 ProMax box that had the 2.4 EFI cover on it. I called Sean at Rapair and asked hime and he said it is very common. If Merc had a bunch of the 2.4 covers laying around in stock they would use them on the 824003 boxes..

Don't worry bout it, yours have all the factory correct Merc stickers..Go with it,,

Got the same issue with mine........was told by the man that put it together that it came off his 280........LIFE IS GOOD [DDT doesn't lie].........
