Anybody have an idea of where to start the fuel adjustment on a 96 Merc 260 running at about 3400 ft above sea level?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shawn

what is your fuel set at now. 99-100 is good for me at sea level so you would be lower than that.

Not sure where it is set at now. I have access to a ddt but nobody in this town has the right cables to hook up to my ecu. There is only 1 other guy here who has a 260 and he went with the lean it out until it runs good method. I am reading about 1000 degrees on my pyrometer at wot but this thing really loads up at idle. Thanks, Shawn

If your pyro is right. lean it up. run full throttle for around 15seconds then pull kill switch. pull plugs and check them. light brown is perfect.
