Got a 260 drag cut motor, fresh from break in. It's cut off twice with me, just like you'd turn off the key. The 1st time I was runnin bout 3000 rpm with a 30 clever, punched it and it died. Fired right back up. 2nd time was yesterday, sittin at idle with a 32 clever pushed gas to take off and it died before ever comin up. Fired right back up and run fine again. Im gonna check the main plugs around the motor and make sure everything is connected and tight. Any other suggestions as to what could be causin this and what to do to fix it? Thanks.

Thanks. As soon as I get off and can get home gonna go through the wires and check. Figured the ecu plug and the main wire harness plug would be the best place to start.

david check the air barb at the bottom of your horn that runs to the ecu.

I hope you find the problem. I have a stock 260 that does that sometimes 2-3 times an outing, no particular time or rpm, most of the time never. Iv'e checked, changed, looked, listened, asked and agonized. Changed parts from one motor to the other and come to the conclusion its going to remain a mystery forever.
