CUSTOM PERFORMANCE 1

Holy smokes:D , Just got back from tuning our first of two new hot rod V8 fishin motas. Monty built these for my sons Scarab. It ONLY made 391 hp at 6400 on pump gas!!!! I have never seen a more picture perefect dyno graph on horsepower and torque and does it ever sound sweet!!!!! It is currently on my 25' center console and pushed it 8 mph faster than my 275, before we tuned it. Monty truly builds a great product!!!! A special thanks to his commitment to his product and proving that it does exactly what he says it will. Looking forward to breaking in the second one and installing both on the Scarab.:) :) :)

I'm working on a toy to try and blow up his dyno ;)

Great to hear it runs so good and 391 @ 6400   :p
A pump gas, mean sun a bitch!
And that is his tune up to go a huge fish bote. Think if it was something about 2000lbs lighter

Nothing sounds better than a ground on V-8 at speed either.
Sounds like Satan himself, he's after you and he's pissed :reddevil:

Keep us posted Keith, I think a video w/audio is in order.

Very impressive Duane and Kieth. My uncle has had his pair of 400+hp Monty V8's for over ten years running on pump gas with minimal issues. He just runs 'em rich. Should be real interesting to see what numbers the heavy Scarab will be running.

Yep, dad and I were just talking about Bobby Sr's pair of Monty V8's that have been on the 25' now for 12+ years at 409/411hp and still run hard. :)

Gary, better step up and let Monty do the work...it's like magic over there. :D

You got that right! Mota #2 just got off the dyno making 383hp! How's that for hand ported consistency?!

Now I'm really vibrating to get this thing back together.

That is nothing short of AWESOME. About time we get that trailer done then! I'll be back in town on Monday, but if we can do it Thursday afternoon it would fit perfectly in my schedule.... I just can't wait to see them back on your boat again and see what kind of numbers they produce. I guess I have to start welding soon so I can keep up with you....:D

I got no plans for next week at this point, but when Kevin gets done with the driveshaft/gearcases and adapters, I'm gonna be *******s and elbows to get that part back on the boat and ready to roll.

The trailer can't move out of the back yard, but I have some tools, and there isn't a lot left. How are we going to bend the 3/8" thick aluminum supports for the bunks and cut the crossmember to length? That's really all I'm worried about. If we can do that in my back yard, that would be great.

As I said before, I don't want to have to get it out of the back yard, since it's such a PITA to do so. Next time out it gets a tag from DMV, then goes to the water to get a boat set on it! :)

I'll bring the tools needed to cut, and make some tools to bend the support. Shouldn't really take that long, but whatever it takes, it takes. Do you have a solid vice? I'll give you a call when I'll get back into Vegas and Thursday approaches....
