EVAN,
Hopefully you have recorded the engine serial numbers off the blocks and post them so if there are complete engines, drop ons, or blocks being sold people can make sure the sale is not your stuff...
Sorry to hear of your loss !

The bad thing about this Is the motors could be put on a hull and repaired by the owner and never seen again. :nonod:

I had a piece of Heavy equipment stolen once and it turned up on a waterfront pier in NYC. It was being shipped overseas. There is a big market for everything from cars to boats, everything in the overseas markets. I dont know if thier is a alert you can put out, but I would check into it.
Sorry Guy, It is a beautiful boat,!!!:(

I hate to agree with him but check the local ports and notifiy the shipping companies..a big reward helps here.........dock help will rat if you can give them an 800 # to call and post pics of it....a quick call to local union shops ( dock workers) will also get the word out fast and increase your odds.......
A 24 Skater is a stand out boat if it's here it'll show it's pretty face.. Good luck and sorry for your lose...I think I'll lock mine down even living this far north the trash always finds a way

Is there some kind of locator that can be installed someplace in a boat in case of theft? Vet`s put um in dog`s.

On "to catch a thief" they had a devise that would call you and tell you the boat was being moved as well as its location. It would also shut the boat off remotely.

Congrtrats on the find i told you there pretty hard to hide sometimes
Jimmy you could do that with lojack......if you put somethingup in the bow of a Skater they would never find it..........trust me and anyone who has been up in there.........

As nice as you boat looks, I am suprised they did not keep it. Sorry about your engines.
I keep mine in the back yard, behind a locked fence with security cameras recording.
This has been happening a lot recently.

I used to live in Homestead (south of Miami) I'd see stripped out boats dumped in the groves all the time. They'd take the engines, rigging and trailer and dump the bare hull. Some *******s tried to steal my 28 ' Manta one night from behind my in-laws house. Lucky for me my Mother in law woke up and ran them off. Good luck finding the engines. Kirk

That sucks. That area looks familiar.....
When I worked in Miami for Paigo Brothers, we had to lock every boat, triple chain each gate at the joint and hinges, take out all the electronics and batteries, pull the props and get everything of value out of the boats that were left outside. We had boats stolen right out of the yard without them even cutting the locks...they'd back into the fence or gate until they could hook to the boat and take the baot and fence with them. We even had and engine removed from the back of a boat, they cut a hole in the fence, drug it thru the hole and half way across the street before they realised ther was no powerhead on it.
I'll keep my eyes open......

Shoot to kill.
I would just spend some late nights hanging out.
Or if not lead in the shot gun it would be at least rock salt.
Have you thought about getting a couple big dogs down there.

I have a English mastiff and when a 175lb male dog walks around people are like
Oh $hit.
even if the dog barked they would not like the noise.
Doberman pincher would work good too. I just am not a big fan of pits but that is just me.
