I'd say a 70. Those tail lights look like 69 to me but the rear quarter looks newer, so I say 70. My sister had a 72 and it had the twin-round tail lights in it.

That is absolutely gorgeous !!!!! Did ya ever run it in the 1/4 mile ? I had a friend that had a metallic green 69 Chevelle with
the dual Holley 650's on a 496 I believe.When he hooked up
it almost put me thru the front seat !!!!!

I think he ran high 7's or so in the 1/4 .......

I love them ole cars just can't accept the fuel mileage

Propster,
Great looking Cobra. What make of kit is it? Big block or 5L Ford? I am thinking of getting a kit from Factory Five and using my 89 5.0L as a doner car. Was it difficult to put together? Must have taken a lot of time to build I bet. Those little cars really rip with a 5.0!

My Cobra is a Factory Five. Very easy to build if you have any mechanical skills at all. I built it in about 8 months on weekends and after work. I know a lot of people that have done it a lot faster and some that really took their time and built some awesome show cars. I am running a 1988 Mustang 5.0 HO motor in it with the computer and fuel injection. The thing only weighs 2100 lbs with fuel and oil. It rocks with the 5.0. I just bought a couple of T3 Garret turbos to put on it this winter. Should really go then!
