wet reeds

i asked a question a week ago about a wet reed plate and have come up with a idea that might be stupid if someone knows better than i do or has tried it but any-way why couldn't you drill a small hole just after the butterfly valve and mount a small fuel injector out of a motorcycle on a 12/24 volt input/output ..timeable out put relay ..or push button mounted on the wheel...what'cha think dum idea or just plain stupid..

wet reeds should not matter carb motors have wet reeds

Wellllll, I thank ya miss'in tha point ov the "WET REED" deel.....

az Jay Smith said, the reeds are actually lubed to an exstent by the reverb ov fuel and not per say "DRY" az the term suggest....

When U put the injectors in front ov the reeds, the antomization prosess starts earlier, and this iz the reason for the more responsive low/mid on the "Wet Reed" mota's....

But hey, thats juss my opinion, and I incourage your lil exsperiment...never know what U may stumble on!!....EXSPERIMENTATION iz why the drag mota makes 300+ HP instead ov 200 like the fish'in 2.5!!!.....100+ HP wuzn't juss handed down from Chrysler Marine:eek: ;) :D :D
