wiring up a new AC panel. what wire size should be used to go from the shore power plug to the Ac panel 60 amp breaker?
and do i need any other ground source for the green wire other than the leg on the panel?

#6 wire is good for 65amps, if it is a long run (over 100') you will want to go to the next bigger size (#4). Yes the green gets connected to the panel ground.

ok , cool, so 12/2 with ground is under sized.. I would need the same size cable as the shore power 30 amp one i got.?
and the run to the panel is about 8 ft. not to bad.

you must have a panel box at the start of you dock. from that point what are you planning on powering. something is not starting to make sence. i cant believe you going to power a 60 air conditoner [ac] on you dock some where. give more info. and yes 12 is only good for 20 amp in a house 25 outside.

ok ,
i have an blue see ac panel. main double 30 amp breaker., and 4 15amp
breakers
I am powering 3 CKTs form the panel.
110 AC and fresh h2o Pump
TV and an outlet.
I have installed a new 30 amp socket on top side, it will run to the Ac panel. What size wire should i use to connect from the shore power recepical to the Ac Panels main breaker. just want to be safe..
Make sense?

Wiring to the 30amp breaker should be #10.
Wiring to the 15amp breakers should be #14.
Hope this helps
