Wondering how many people with 21-24' SOB's have progression seats in their boat. Most likely I will use progression for the interior of my ghost. Im just looking to see how much the interior costs for the 2 seats and the rear bench and also how long it takes to get a custom order completed. Thanks

That question would best be answered by Kevin at Progression - 631-226-1431. Their work is absolutely amazing.

some people with progressions put superboat seats in thier boats to save weight

JC of Superboat built me Custom Highback Buckets that are as good as it gets... the highbacks will help prevent a neck injury

Is there a noticeable weight difference between the high back superboat seats and progression seats?
H20 could you send me some pics of the seats to Kalibat@fordham.edu ?

I'll post some pictures... From what I know my 27 highback progression seats were nice and comfortable but the new Superboat seats have a more solid support and are constructed with a fiberglass shell inside vs. I understand a plywood shell in the progression seats

Progression seats have never used plywood or any wood shells. They are all vacuum-bagged AME 4000 fiberglass.

hey ghost if you want you can check out my interior. call progression and go there, they make the seats and interior in house top notch just like their boat building construction. superboats seats use metal tubing for the base they have to weigh more than progresion. progression will make anything you want, strong and light

Lightspeed those are pretty ill looking...I dunno if you order from them but would you know the build time on them is? Im going to be ordering the interior after the boat is removed from the mold just to be safe...so im assuming itll be easier to get seats done faster by a LI company I might be wrong

Just like clockwork, Sam. You've only said this on two of my other interior threads already, and here you are yet again with the same comment.

I won't even get into how they are made and materials - that would be a waste of time.

Those progression seats with strips look a little "outdated" (late 80s) :p ...the superboat seats posted on page one look way more "updated" (2000s)

Depends on what your looking for some people like the old school look...personally I would disagree, they don't look out dated at all rather they look classic strips are never outdated...both seats look awesome

progression will make any pattern or colors you want, my interior is 12+ years old and looks new. no wrinkles, go to progression`s website and read a little bit. or call kevin and talk to one of the most talented boat builder around. in house interiors fully custom, custom boat covers and more. not many boat builders do all this, just like the progression boat is made with a no compromise construction, so is everything else they make, top notch.

Only complaint i have is they are all white and show dirt. As far as construction and quality they are top notch.

I know progressions stuff is good, but since we are talking shells again Superboat's seats are shells with button on skins.

Progression/Superboat interior combo.
When the back seat is in John's boat its a progression back seat, but for the fronts he had Superboat make him super light shells. These are the only pictures I have of his boat. The one you can see some of the front seats too and how the skins go on. You might save yourself some money as im sure Frost has the templetes for these seats.

Don Frost as been making our seats for years. Their work is incredible. We only supply the fiberglass shell. There is another thread like this here someplace, I need to find it. It answers all questions...................
We also have a rear cockpit cover for a 21 Legend like the Progression has in stock, if anybody is interested.

I attempted to make one last winter.....not sure why i even tried, I left it in my exwifes basement :p

I would love to pull my sundeck and my back seat out and throw a hatch like that on. Would make the boat look 10 x better.
