Need a Merc ignition switch part # please.

Broke mine and it has 9 leads and all the replacements I can find (including at Pro) only have 6.

Went to Bam Marines site and can't find it on a break down anywhere.

On order at Bam Marine but may be last order there. 2nd time I've e'd their "tech" support for help and not gotten a response!

$48. switch, $5. handling charge and $13. more for "shipping"! Worst part is it's coming from Fla!!
$18. for a 2 ounce part to go 100 miles.

I need a new Merc part source.

check out a merc dealer in the center of the state. maybe lake placid is close for you? I always deal with the ones on lake O for my "normal" parts. the cost of doing business is higher on the coasts, and that drives the prices up.

I noticed a couple of wires w/same color code but w/o a manual/schematic I could not verify they were going to the same place.

6 wire I got came from there.

Mine was $48. from Bam but with shipping it was $16. more. (we need to talk over beers some time)
