has any one looked in to using simpson set style epoxy for block work,(filler, stuffing). i can get it for free all day long. we use it one our jobs for setting steel allthread in concrete, and we allways have extra tubes. it is a two part in one tube or side by side tubes, the side by side takes a special gun to dispence. may be someone that is good with the chemical words can look at the simpson site and let me know what they think.
google simpson epoxy if you would like to see the tech. stuff

Dunno know about the simpson brand, BUT sometimes "free" ain't so free when it fails and cost you a block...
I CAN say I've SUCCESSFULLY stuffed a zillion block with Kop Kote . I found out about it 10 years ago at a race car shop , they were using in it Pro Stock Chevy intake runners..It ain't free but neither or blocks if you experiment and use something that fails.

The part I would check into is how it holds up to heat and fuel / oil. Keep in mind there is a very high heat in the blocks.

I searched and came up with Simpson Strong tie. If that is the product I would not use it. It seams to be just for fastening anchors into concrete. I don't think it would hold up to the heat or gas and oil very well. It was not designed for that.
