What oil should I use in a 1997 xr-2 200 merc for best protection and performance? Should I use merc oil?:confused:

it depends how high you rev it...merc prem.plus is good to 6.600 if you go more use ALISYN OIL:D

Steel sleeved stocker 2.5 200 HP , IMO I'd run the Mercury Prem. Plus or Penz. blend at Wally World.
