I have been lurking on this site for some time and need some help. I have a 2001 optimax 200hp and the trim/tilt switch at the control needs to be replaced.Is it possible to remove and replace just the switch?

Yes , you can replace the factory switches . While your at it , I'd add a switch on the wheel ,or if you have Hydrolic steering ,a stalk type switch on the helm .Also a Hot Foot if you don't already have one . This is just for safety, so you can keep both hands on the wheel .Rich Martin 018:D
