What brand Jack plate ??

It has been 15 years since I ran a Clamp-on , on a 32 Skater what brand of Jack-plate is best ?? Years ago I ran Cooks plate , one of the first they made , the angle they used was this and it started to Mushroom out with only a 225 looper on it . I called them back in the day and they said tough **** , two years later they redesigned they side palte out of much thicker Alum

I spoke to Peter today from Skater , he said he only uses Cooks non Hyd jacks on twin Outboard Skaters , it has been years since I bought a CMC jack plate . How much are they ??
