crankshaft,RACEING OILER??????

A local used boat yard is telling me that they have a used crankshaft for my looper, He calls it a 225 raceing oiler crank. what is this????? jphil i'm still interested just tight on $$

You'all know I'm a newbee, but I thought all cranks got oiled someway or another.and I guess at some time or other the motor was "RACED"against another boat. ======"raceing oiler"
