Anyone try this before? If so how did it work?

The question should be, what wouldn't work on a Stoker (besides maybe an underpowered engine). The hull will handle just about anything.

Thanks for the compliment John. Several running 15 inch mids and they work very well, just remember the 15 inch mid and clamp assembly shifts the engine back about 2 inches which does change the boat a little so spend some time getting used to the change.

long time. Hope you're well.
I gotta go out to BWB soon, I'll call you and come by (yeah I know, been saying that for how long?).
Ive done (2) 15" engines on Stokers and they both were excellent setups. Fast, stable and of course turning animals.

I would imagine the 2 inch set back is needed for transom clearance? Anything else I need to know about? The 15 inch mids were done with a 2.5 or a 3.0?thanx for the help

How's it going? So how high are you able to get the motor on your boat?? I recall you saying you didn't have the propshaft above the pad???
Kevin at R&R did some stuff on our Bravo1 that I expect to be an improvement. He's got a HST with a 300X on it.

All is well. How are you? 2 inches below the bottom.I think that is the cause of my handling problem.I'm looking at either a Wayne mid or Marty fabbing a mid for me.I'm hoping to chat with somone who has done this with a 3 litre. So as to avoid any issues. If I hear anything I'll let you know.
