i have an allison grand sport elite,side steering with a 280hp mercury and would like to know if a seastar pro hdraulic system would be a better set-up then the dual cable system, i am worried about if the hydraulic system is accurate enought when correcting chine walk

I read a post earlier that said NO to the Sea Star.........but that is what I am running

contact Rick Conklin FL boy in IL on the board here he ran both systems on his boat with a 280 with 260 electronics.

i read a reply to a thread i posted awhile back an it said to contact rick conklin to get his view on hydraulic steering since he has ran both on a similar setup as i have, but you can no longer get to the members list, so if anyone know how to contact him or if rick reads this ,please send me a pm,thanks
