Had an issue with a stripped plug hole and the repaired hole would not fire correctly so I bought another head from a member on here... I had listed the casting number 18488C4 and was sent a 18487C4 and was told it would work fine... Used a stock head gasket and put it on and ever since the motor has idled rather rough...? Well though it was time to send my injectors to Tony and was about to till I just decided to run a compression check... Left side was 115psi dead even (cold)... The right side which is where I put the 18487C4 on was 130psi dead even (cold)...? Not alot of difference but figure it makes for the idle being rough...?
I got this head awhile back and just never checked the comp till now and it runs fine just rough on the idle and dont remember it being that was before the plug issue...? Should I ask the member to either send me a correct casting head or one to match the one he sent...? Or just get one myself...?
