Getting ready to pull injectors and package for shipping to Brucato. Is there anything I should or shouldn't do as far as packaging them up goes. Anyone else ship from Canada. How do you deal with the border and duty or brokerage fees. I may just drive them across myself and ship from Niagara Falls myself if it is easier(30 min drive to border). I know I have to insure them for $285 each or $1700 for all six.
Thanks

I just shipped mine on thursday. I wrapped each in a paper towl, put each in a labeled ziplock bag, then wrapped them in bubble wrap and put them in the box and filled in the remaining space with more bubble wrap. Think they should be fine. Dunno bout Canada, but mine was $25 shipped from western Washington priority mail.

Good luck,

There are no issues shipping down. Shipping up, to avoid brokerage fees simply obtain the tracking # as soon as parts are shipped. Call UPS Canada at 800-742-5877, give them the tracking # and say you want to "self clear". They will call you and tell you where to collect the paperwork, you then take it to a customs office, pay the PST and GST, then go back to UPS and pick it up. Saves a ton of $$$ in most cases.
This may not work for you but in Winnipeg these places are all close together, right by my work. :)

Thanks for the replies. I shouldn't have to pay gst or pst on repair work. I will check it out with my local UPS Store and if not worth it I will just drive across the border myself and ship from Niagara Falls, NY. I can have it returned to UPS in Niagara Falls, NY and pick it up there free of charge. No need for a P.O. box.
