At idle one of my motors starts to heat up.If i bring the idle up to about 1200rpm it comes back down and the temps are fine when cruising.I am suspecting one of the thermostats are not opening all the way.I know that the stock replacement thermostats are 143 degress and I know that they make a 120 degree.Do you think I am diagnosing correctly.I already replaced poppit valves and pressures are normal.Also would there be any benefit to use the 120 over the 143 and does anybody have the part number for the 120.I boat in the Atlanta area and ocaisionally Florida.
