what are the gear ratio for the johnson\evinrude v4 v6.in the 90s.

1.86, 14:26, for the V6. I think all of the V4's are 2.1.

so all the v6 have the same gear ratio 150 to 225

V4 with 4 1/8" case is 2:1

V6 with 4 3/4" case is 1.87:1

Some V4 models came with a 4 3/4" V6 type gearcase and 12:27 (2.25:1) gears.

Some V6 models came with 5 1/8" V8 type gearcases and I forget the ratio.
