Roy,
I've never had any luck with ANY Boysen reed sealing very long, they warp stupid quick and leak like a seive IMO, I've even lapped alum reed cages on a zillion dollar "lappmaster" machine at work and sanded reeds with little to no luck trying to get the Boysens to seal during assyembly . Some say its OK to have a reed leak a bit and it will close under crankcase compression IMO thats Bull hockey ,when I raced I could feel the bottom end soft if the reeds were not laying flat during external examination and assyembly .I use the Tony Doukas Reeds in my high rpmed engines as well as the recreational engines I build and my customers love em...I CAN sell any reed I choose but I have just had SUPER luck with the TDR products. Tony can and will configure your reed in any custom thickness and material density weave your application needs.

Jay,
Can you get reeds from Tony Doukas for the smaller motors like the OMC 49ci triples? Got a price on them?
Thanks

TDR shows allot of OMC reed valves, what year model & HP is that motor rated? Give me some more information and I'll see if it can cross over..

Jay,
Not sure of exact year, but it should be late 70's or maybe early 80's.
Supposed to have been built by Fast Fred, longer rods, finger ported, high comp head, slightly bigger carbs, different crank, pistons etc. Guessing around 100hp. Have not run it yet though.
