They are giving our country away. ****ers....

Do you know that we have adult students at the school where I teach who are not US citizens and who get the PELL grant, which is a federal grant (no pay back required) plus other federal grants to go to school?

One student from the Dominican Republic told me that she didn't want me to find a job for her after she finished my program, because she was getting housing from our housing department and she was getting PELL grant which paid for her total tuition and books, plus money left over.

She was looking into WAIT which gives students a CREDIT CARD for gas to come to school, and into CARIBE which is a special program for immigrants and it pays for child care and all sorts of needs while they go to school or training.

The one student I just mentioned told me she was not going to be a US
citizen because she plans to return to the Dominican Re public someday and that she "loves HER country. " I asked her if she felt guilty taking what the US is giving her and then not even bothering to become a citizen and she told me that it doesn't bother her, because that is what the money is there for!

I asked the CARIBE administration about their program and if you ARE a
US citize n, you don't qualify for their program. And all the while, I am
working a full day, my son-in-law works more than 60 hours a week, and
everyone in my family works and pays for our education.

Something is wrong here. Right?

SPEAK UP -- I--

Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants use to do in the past --and

GOD BLESS AMERICA !

Across the road from where we used to live this mexican gal had free rent, welfare for her two kids, wick for food, food stamps too, free tuition at the local college. How I found out was one day I was in my garage and the boyfriend came running from around their house into my garage and I asked what was up. He told me the dept of family services was checking up on his girlfriend and he wasn't suppose to be living there. If he got caught they would take away all the free chit. So I asked what she was getting free. He told me all the things I mentioned before. See he worked hanging gutters for an ex personal manager from Heinz plant (ketchup). He worked strictly for cash. He was quite proud of the gig he had going. By the way he was a white guy. I did call family services to report them. I was told they already had reports on this couple but the could never catch him there staying overnight. He would park his car at a buddies or way down the street, very rarely would it be left there overnight. Let me tell ya that whole family dressed to the nines. Both adults had nice fairly new vehicles too, newer and nicer than anything we had. This is all fact.

For Us Americans that are al least minimally intelligent, this comes as no surprise and we're aware that the extreme "out-of-balance" that all the non-workers and non-taxpayers will eventuall bankrupt this Country... For the idiots out there that are either too nieve or just no concerned, posting a million negative facts will sway their minds... Sad, tragic and true...

My GF is a 3rd year med student at UMDNJ. So far she owes $212,000 between her undergrad and medschool. You can tack on another 40k next year to total $252,000.

I don't have the time to research every casual thing I read, but the internet has taught me to be extremely sceptical of everything I read or hear, and most of what I see.

During the Y2K fanatical fear buildup, I had a friend disown me because I told him that the "fact" that every line pole transformer had a "chip" in it that would chit the bit when Y2K came around was B as in B, and S as in S. He thought he was doing the world a service by spraying all the information he could around, while having absolutely no understanding about what he was typing.

This same friend had an incident at his place on Jan 1, 2000 that involved the fire department. It seems he decided to run his Y2K wood burner, having absolutely no knowledge about how it works or that you have to break it in with the windows open to burn off the mill oil. LOL

You have to be "a citizen or an eligible noncitizen to receive aid from the FSA programs. The general requirement for eligible noncitizens is that they be in the US for other than a temporary purpose with intention of becoming a citizen or lawful permanent resident" this is from the FSA handbook

I am claiming myself on my income tax and will be living on my own. Will the cost of health insurance, etc. that I will have to start doing on my own since I will no longer qualify on my parents health insurance, car insurance. What I'll receive from a grant? Can you tell me how much I will get from a federal student grant if I made 7500 this year? Thanks a lot.
