i was out with him and a few other guys the guy riding with him said joe made a pass as soon as he got on plane :cool: im pretty sure it was faster then 110 :D hopefully gary will chime in here and correct me if im wrong

you were taking sarge on his first 100+ pass... from the time Joe went up to the time joe is entering the water, I am sure you closed the gap pretty quickly.... thanks God.

What caused the crash?Yes.Its hard to say exactly but my eyes watched a 15 foot Baja with a 260 run pass after pass side by side with two of the fastest Allisons in the south.Between the wind gusts and the water from the wakes of other boats it took off.It was so hard to watch that happen.I thought we lost a great man that day.I so happy Joe is still with us.

The picture looks like it has been cropped to show only the accident. Look at how grainy it is. That would make you look closer than you were.
