If it's true, assuming the short video is stating that his officers are taken vacations at the tax payer expense, then there should all be put in jail, his jail! We had a report here in NJ of one of our towns PDs going to New Orleans to help out and there are a lot of questions about the trip. Seems the cop in charge has been getting crank phone calls after the NYC news air the story which seems to imply that they went there and had a party of a time at the towns expense. Seems that larger cities have problems with this sort of stuff while smaller ones don't. Here in NJ, if you followed my 800% toll increase thread, you can really see how the bigger cities are sucking the state budjet dry. Small towns here are about 200-300% more cost eff. per pop. then the cities and have much better schools and much less crime.

Just a view from the outside, but I would say 'ole Joe has saved saved more money and done more good for AZ than most of the people deserve. If he had the authority to build THE FENCE along the border. I have no doubt that it would be built quicker than any than anybody in Washington!

Still if they did what they say then they stole $ and by all means that means jail time. Somehow when public emplys get caught they are allowed to resign and keep their penison! Nuts!

We had so-called reforn here in NJ, it was a law that said if you get convicted of stealing from a goverment job you lose your penison and all other benefits, such as free health care for life. Well before the bill was passed the governor and his friends made sure that if you have miltable gov jobs that you only lose the benefits on the job that you get caught on!
Our gov even made a big fuss of the complaints but stating, on camera, that "Why should they, the currpt polictians, be punished on all ther jobs when they just made a MISTAKE on one".
Of BTW, this guy abnd his friends have often stated that their really isn't currption in this state. The formmer gov even stated that it's case we have a over active fed prosecuter as to why are currption arrests are leading the nation. Hell their appt. state prosecuter only arrest maybe one polictian a yr while giving out hundreds of imunity deals which the Feds said tied there hands.

Screw that... That is useless spending... Especially for someone that has shut down jail facilities... And why send high paid commanders somewhere for that sort of thing. Why not training staff that can effectively pass information on if he was doing as he says to gain information etc... Irregardless there is much to do locally and the money would be best spent working local projects...
