Looking at getting a boat that will fit in my garage, I have about 21'6" to get something in garage. I will not put it in at an angle etc....that is not an option. So with that in mind, which one of the boats i listed, or similiar to them have the most room inside for 3-4 people....I know they are meant to haul ass etc, but I would like something with the most room. I'm not familiar with them to know the difference in how they ride at top speed. I have a 2000 promax225 sitting on stand in garage and i want to find a boat to put it on....I've seen a few like the mirage, then one called mirage river racer etc.....quartershots are made here in jax where i live, they also have the stv euro molds as well. I like the stv euroski, looks like it has more room, and sits higher on water which i like.....looks like you sit deeper in it as well. If i don't get one of these type of boats, I have a friend that has a hydrostream valero bowrider with YT hull, it's stable, has room, and has descent high sides on it, that will prob be what i get if i don't end up with one of the mirage/stv/quartershot/liberator style boats. How wet are they? I will be riding in st johns river and intracoastal waterway from jax to st augustine....and of course you end up passing tugs with barges and huge wakes, and on the narrow intracoastal big 40-50ft yachts that haul ass and don't slow down.....any info on these boats would be greatly appreciated....
I am also looking for a smaller 13-14 ft boat to put on my boat lift, looking for a pad v hull, i have a 90hp yamaha to put on it.....any ideas?

I wouldnt think any of those boats would fit in a 21'6 ft deep garage. the motor is almost 3ft and tongue is about 5 ft. you need about 28ft minimum.
as for room the 21 liberator and euro have the most room. the lib is better on the rough stuff than all of them.

If it's got to fit in that garage even with the folding tounge your only option is a T4 for a boat with room in it . The STV's are 19' ,whare the Qshot T4 is 18' to the transom . I think Jack calls them 19's with the tunnel extention , but the transom is at 18' . Rich Martin 018:cool:

my 18' Mirage RiverRacer on trailer with engine won't fit at an angle in most 2 stall garages.

modvp22, what is the length of your boat from rear of cav plate to front of side sponson? considering i can get a trailer with removable tongue....and jack says the trailer doesn't stick out in front of front sponsons.........it's gonna be a tight fit, but I plan on getting one in the garage....even if i have to knock out a hole in the wall to gain an extra 4-5 inches.........for cav plate to fit in......I have a 17ft boat in garage with 1.5' extra clearance.....it has completely detachable tongue......simple to use......

Do a search for eagle one boats on here, I think Forkin Crazy is the thread
author you want to read. The stv Euro, which jack builds, has the most
interior room. My garage is about 27', and without a swing away tongue
and a 6" jackplate, I could comfortably walk behind the boat.

I don't ahve it here, so I can't measure it. The boat is 18'3", plus an 8" jackplate. I would guess the engine sticks back including the cavitation plate about 32". My trailer was a little longer in the front, and I know it barely wouldn't fit in a 30 ft. garage.

thanks for replies....i know my friends 17'9" valero will fit with a 6" jackplate and 225 johnson.....if it had detachable/foldaway tongue....so i'm hoping i can fit in a tunnel style boat....because the sponsons stick out more than the middle of boat where the winch/strap attatch......

I just measured the 18' Liberator with a 225 Promax on it. It's 21' 5.5" from the nose to the cavitation plate. You'd have to get a fold away tongue to keep it that length.

My STV with a 6" jackplate is 23'6" from the tip of the sponsons to the back of the mid/gearcase. 26' on the trailer (no fold-away tongue).

I had an 18'3 Mirage River Racer and at an angle in my 3 car garage, it took up two sides (no folding tongue). My Garage is 22ft deep. Figure about 8-10in for a jackplate on these hull types. The bottom lengths will be about the same on the 18Libertor, the Qshot T3 and the Cyclone as the Mirage River Racer...same blood lines originally.
I would roll with a QShot or a Liberator if I was you, quality wise. Houses can be modified to fit...

Mine had a 12" plate. A 5" would bring it to the same length.
