St. Cloud(Orlando) offshore race April 5-6, anyone going??

I'll be working with the fountain in the pits on Sunday, but taking the Pantera out Saturday for a raftup with a few other boats.

Cool deal. We'll see how the day goes on Saturday, maybe we can get out some time in the afternoon w/ the 24' and watch practice. ;)

It's one of the only ones they do on an inland body of water. East Lake Tohopekaliga. It is done in conjunction with the St Cloud Spring Fling, which includes a small carnival, bass tournament, arts and crafts displays, classic car displays, etc...

Kinda not an "Offshore" Race, but includes "offshore style" racebots, look for the Miss Geico 50 foot(yeah, the new one) twin T-55 turbine powered Mystic cat, ran 210 on a test drive:eek:

Everyone look for the Purple Pantera, and come over and say Hello, also stop by the AMF offshore pits at the Merc factory, I'll be there with the 29 fountain.

jeff, I may come over sunday. What time do you have to get there to get in the water and out to the center of the course before race time. Just trying to gauge.

I would be there early, we usually run 2 races, 11 and 1, but depends on boat count. I would try to be in the water by 10AM.
