Damn , Those seats look like marshmellows on a camping trip . On the other hand , that boats easily repairable . Looks to be mostly interior an wirering issues . Hull doesn't look to be damaged . Rich Martin 018:cool:

i wonder if the heat from the fire would make the boat brittle and want to crack in stressfull waves? get it for cheap enough it is worth it just for what is hanging on the transom.

Doesn't look like the boat acually caught fire .I know of boats that did burn ,that have been repaired and are fine race boats today . This one just got hot enough to melt some plastic and do some cosmetic damage .If it would have been hot enough to do anything structural ,you would have to beleive the intrior would have burnt not just toasted . Just what I se from the pictures , but I'm not interested in buying it either .I'd think the biggest problem would be electronic on the motor . Rich Martin 018:D

if you consider buying, what do you think the metal temp got to? 300-400? on the powerhead,i guess you could say HEAT TREATED,,, the lower should be fine though

Trust me, radiant heat is a beooch. I wouldn't run that thing after being exposed to that without a serious, very in depth, hull inspection. I cant imagine the hull delaminating at speed with a 300 pushing it.

I don't think heat got to the bottom unless the fire was under it???? It snowed here again so as usual I'm behind...I did get an email from the guy say he "would being it in" I wounder if it's under a snow bank now????

I think it would still be wothr it just for parts....the motor, jack plates and trailer gotta be worth more than $3500.

if i lived closer i would be driving up to get it for anything under 4k.... the lower, trailer, mid and Jack plate im sure are still good... i just see some needed electronics and wiring

true... But they want $5500. motor Will need total rebuild and prob all electronics, wiring for sure!!...trailer need bearings because of heat....
