Got the boat out yesterday, ran OK, except hard to get on plane, could be a prop, or engine height(or even the plug wire that fell out of the brand new coil, not sure at what point this happened). Once on plane ran up to 5200 without trim, so I am sure I could have hit 5600 trimming it up. Problem is, I come off plane for a bridge, motor dies:mad: Wont restart, I pull the cowling to see the Plug wire pulled out of a brand new $100 merc coilpack(the kind with the wire screwed in). SOOO, I strip it back, and reinsert it to get me home, NOPE, no spark on any cylinder:confused: . Could it have arced and fried something, like maybe the ecu???
Any Ideas????

Disconnect the engine harness at the engine and check for spark. Could be a key switch or lanyard switch

When you say spark checker, do ya mean the kind that looks like a sparkplug that clamps to ground?? If so, I see sears sells one for standard ign, and one for HEI, which would you use??

First off, check to see if the "kill switch" has been pulled.
