I've seen some, as they are made here I believe or at use were at one time. They were always run in the local Races.
I sure if you search Race forms they will turn up.
I would suggest checking with Sharkey also as I believe he would know a lot on them.

Sorry, I didn't see that you are talking about radio controlled models.

i have a mold from a J&S, built by Terry Frahs of Jax Fla. buying parts to complete my first one. want to build a R/C replica, saw them run in orlando at nat races, only a handfull showed up, but VERY realistic, and VERY exciting to watch. lots of action, and no crashes, couple of spinouts but they were able to get back in the race. they are big enough that they are easly visable and like i said very realistic in their behavier. i got some old wood working equipment from a cabinet shop that went out of business so i belive i must build one and a mold ;) Tom Foley has some killer pics he posted on the general page titled "giant r/c boat race in orlando" maby he will see this and post um here. (i haven't taken the time to learn to post pics yet, but will soon) later fun

yea nothing like letting 450 hp loose against the rev limiter (6800) and holding it there while the propshaft is in between the two of you with one foot resting on the exhaust pipe..one guy fighting with the trim tab and the other with a steering wheel between his legs fighting for his life to get the thing around a corner all while strapped to the transom and jumping over other wakes.............Oh yea thats fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kinda like riding a rampid bull on crack , while someone hits you with a fire hose!!!!

Now on the other hand on a smooth lake in a straight line there ok at best........

here's the one I use when ever I want, feel free to come up and try it!!
