Anyone know of a Hin Decoder for checkmate boats?

Post the HIN, or ask your question. First 3 are manufacturer from the coast guard, last 2 are the year. In between that can be any combo, with the month of production. This might help a little.

There are only a few things that this will tell you. To find out if you had hull number 1 out of the mold would depend on the builder and how he starts his numbering system.

The 09530 is the serial number so it could be the 953rd hull built for total production or the the 953rd out of that mold or 9530? It's hard to say what that would be, only they could tell you that. The "M" is the month, but that's not right because it only goes to "L". It looks like the year is 1976 model year built in 75. The "M" is a bit off. But thats about it.
