but too high rake for your application. Low rake = more transom lift.

for the Skater I have 2 sets
Mazco's = high transom lift ( to much really for me) brutal mid range and alittle slower
mercs ( not labbed) great hole shot but spins up a little longer ,even pull thru the middle and bigger #'s on top..( my prefered weapon)
Both are 14.5 X 30's
I tried 14.5 X 32 mazcos and they had so much lift I couldn't spin them up because they made the boat so squirrelly..........I want to find a set od 32 mercs...........

So JTjr is saying too little transom lift and Hottrucks say too much transom lift? I was looking to try a 30 or 32 cleaver also but now I don't know what to expect. I am running a 29 re3 now but am planning to raise the motor and go for a cleaver.

to much transom lift..............
read it slower so you can understand!!!!
with the Skater I don't need transom lift .......the boat flys even with the Mercs on it.. the mazcos make the transom get lite and make the boat to flightly and wastes HP trying to lift the boat the mercs are all about the turn what little hp i have into thrust and giving me better top end #'s
Look at the pic and tell me why i would need transom lift..........

no one said u needed transom lift, i need a prop with zero bow lift cause the action packs as much air as that skater at speed
